Overview

The Smart Home project is a mobile app designed to transform home automation experience and lower the barrier to utilize the smart home technologies. The application makes use of Z-wave protocol to recognize connections with different appliances in an instance, so that users can quickly set smart devices up and control them easily. Moreover, the Smart Home project also introduces a solution to help create more sustainable homes by monitoring energy consumption level in a household.

This project is an individual project developed under Georgia Tech's Net Impact Interdisciplinary Design Chapter.
